Much like her father, Charlie's skin used to be grey with her eyes black and hollow. Unlike him, however, she wasn't technicolored, appearing with all normal detail. At the time of her death, she wore her middle length dark grey hair in a ponytail, a grey shirt, grey pants and grey shoes. The only colorful accent on her person was the green Security Puppet bracelet. A night before The Fourth Closet takes place, her Aunt Jen pulls her out of the scrap and puts her in a chest.
Charlotte Emily
The remains of the Marionette spent awhile locked away in storage as evidence for a fire that occurred at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place several years ago, but it was grabbed by Detective Larson during an investigation on the Stitchwraith. This hooded endoskeleton was unknowingly harboring the soul of child murderer William Afton. Now separate from the entity, William Afton combined with piles of trash and scrapped animatronic parts the Stitchwraith had been collecting, becoming The Agony. Marla checks on her while John shows her Ella as a three-year-old girl caused by an illusion disc the doll has. Charlie takes a closer look and tells him that the disc is different from Afton's.

Baby was the robot with "silver eyes" who was in the corner of Henry's workshop. Elizabeth then also revealed that she isn't even possessed by the real Charlie either. They discover the still-functioning control panel which makes the robots move, and Charlie finds a fourth robot - Foxy the Pirate Fox - which cuts her arm with his hook.
According to the novel, Charlie is the daughter of Henry and an unnamed woman, and the twin sister of Sammy. On November 1st, 1983, Afton donned the Spring Bonnie suit, and he kidnapped Sammy, Charlie's twin brother, when they were both toddlers. While William Afton was suspected of committing this murder, he wasn't charged; as a result, the diner ends up closing down. In 1995, Charlie, now 17 years old returns to her childhood home of Hurricane, Utah to attend the launch of a scholarship dedicated to her school friend Michael Brooks who went missing ten years earlier.
Gameplay
The yellow Freddy allows them to leave, and Chief Burke arrives to search for the missing Officer Dunn. William attacks in the Spring Bonnie costume, but Charlie activates its spring locks, killing him. As they search for a way out, the four robots come to life and pursue them through the restaurant. William reveals that the robots are possessed by the vengeful ghosts of his victims and boasts that they will hunt down and kill any intruders. The group tries to hide in a party room, but all four robots corner them.
What is Charlotte's age in the games?
The animatronics wander the restaurant at night, and the guard is instructed to watch over them. To progress through the games, the player must guard themselves against animatronics with a variety of tools. This backstory is hinted at through a secret in the first game, where a hidden news article explains that the restaurant's reputation was damaged when blood, mucus, and foul odors began to leak from the animatronics' eyes and mouths. The customizable night contains a total of fifty animatronics from previous games, which allows the player to determine how aggressive they are during the night (similar to the custom nights in earlier games). Notable new game modes include a shooting gallery, a free-roaming corn maze, and an assembly line in which the player must construct an animatronic.
Family
William attacks in the yellow Bonnie costume, but Charlie activates its spring locks, killing him. William reveals that the robots are possessed by the vengeful ghosts of his victims, and boasts that they will hunt down and kill any intruders. The next day, Charlie and her friends attend the scholarship's launch ceremony at their old school, where Michael's parents give a speech about him. Afterwards, John confesses to Charlie that he remembers seeing a strange person in a yellow Freddy costume at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza on the day of Michael's death, and he now suspects this person was Michael's killer. Charlotte reappears in the Security Puppet minigame, now with a sprite design, and the events of Take Cake are seen again, from a different perspective. Charlotte has been given a green bracelet, presumably by her father, so that the Puppet will be assigned to protect her.
By the end of the novel, it is revealed what is written on the real Charlotte Emily's grave. This reveals her last name, "Emily" and that she actually died in 1983 at three years old after being murdered by William Afton, an old friend of Henry, even co-owner. Then they discover that the authors of this are animatronics created by William Afton. Not only that, but they also discover that Charlie is the target of these creatures. Later, she is contacted by Clay Burke, who informs her of a series of murders that is taking place, whose victims have wounds that connect with the young woman's past. Without a doubt, Charlie, John and Jessica join Clay to solve the mystery and find out who are the cause of such a terrible event.
Stuck as a powerless phantom for 2 years, unable to help the 6 kids William killed after her, Charlie was finally able to come back in 1987, after he and her dad brought back the puppet character as the Marionette. After William murdered 5 new children at the establishment, he noticed Marionette floating around and whispering to everything she could see. He considered if this could have been Charlie, but he didn't care enough to check, so he left her alone. In 1987, she was responsible for getting Afton's second set of victims into new bodies, even tho the children all banded together to possess Balloon Boy instead of the bodies she prepared for them. She also attempted to free her friends by throwing a party in the purgatory pizzeria, but failed, leading to the creation of Molten Freddy and events of Ultimate Custom Night.
However, the Puppet is trapped underneath some boxes, and Charlotte is locked outside in the rain by some children. When the Puppet gets free, Charlotte jumps up and down to get it's attention, before fading away, as William kills her. Once the Puppet gets outside, Charlotte's body lays on the ground, and the damaged Puppet hugs her corpse, allowing Charlotte to possess it, as the Marionette, signified by the tear marks on the Puppet's mask. So the other day, I was browsing Reddit and I stumbled onto this account called u/NoSayingFrickHere. Now, he thinks Charlotte is 3 years old in the games, and I think to myself, Isn't that weird?
Charlotte Emily is a recurring character in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise debuting in the second game as the puppet or marionette. She was the daughter of Henry Emily who was the co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment alongside his business partner William Afton. At some point Charlotte was locked out by a group a bullies and then William Afton appeared and murdered her in cold blood. She would later find other victims of William Afton from the missing children incident and later placed their spirits into Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Golden Freddy all to stop Afton's killing spree. She would later become Lefty a black animatronic bear designed to capture Charlotte. She shows Charlie memories of her with her father, revealing that she was a ragdoll this whole time.
Before college, on her 18th birthday, she began having nightmares, twisted versions of her memories, involving her twin brother, Sammy. In August, she told her aunt that she's going to be accompanied by Jessica, since she's going to attend St. George college. Aunt Jen declined, which led to Charlie’s first ever fight with her aunt.
